Champions League: Inter, Bayern gun for the treble

This will be a unique final, because both the clubs have the chance of completing the treble if they win the game. It is debatable for whom it will prove more of an issue.

Inter haven't won the Champions League since the 1960s, when it was called the European Cup. For German clubs, it has been a period of recent hibernation. Their last appearance in the final was in 2002, when Bayer Leverkusen lost to Real Madrid.

German clubs have since then been overtaken by their English counterparts. And Bayern, under Van Bommel is the perfect candidate to put forward Germany's case.
