Vaz that funny?

Women have the right to vote but not to break wind in public. Time to change that, says comedian Radhika Vaz, who brings her show 'UnLadylike' to India after performing to packed audiences in New York.

Dressed in a knee-length black-and-white polkadotted dress, a red scarf tied rakishly around her neck, the elfin Radhika Vaz prances around on stage, alternately throwing up her hands in the air, puckering her lips, rolling her eyes and sipping daintily from a tea-cup. She is the quintessential 1950s American housewife: prim, prissy and with perfect enunciation except for a tendency to roll her r's dramatically, rather like an Italian brigand. The hitch is, a 1950s American housewife would probably die before uttering even a word of what's coming out of Vaz's rather mobile mouth.
