2012 will be year of remakes, sequels
PLAY IT AGAIN
PLAYERS: is a remake of Hollywood film Italian Job will star Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol and Sonam Kapoor.
AGNEEPATH: is a remake of a 1990 hit from Dharma Productions. Hrithik Roshan essays Amitabh Bachchan's role and Sanjay Dutt enacts Kancha Cheena in the film directed by Karan Malhotra.
SON OF SARDAR: is a remake of superhit Telugu film, Maryada Ramana. It stars Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha and is directed by Ashiwini Dheer.
BOL BACHCHAN, A remake of classic cult Golmaal (Hrishikesh Mukherji), has Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin and is directed by Rohit Shetty.
ROWDY RATHORE, a remake of the south Indian film Vikramadu, stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha and will be directed by Prabhudeva.
SECOND-TIME LUCKY
DABANGG 2, the much-awaited sequel will be directed by Arbaaz Khan this time
KYA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is being shot six years after the first one, with same lead pair of Ritiesh Deshmukh and Tushaar Kapoor.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI 2 will star Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor directed by Milan Luthria.
JANNAT 2 directed by Kunal Deshmukh and starring Emraan Hashmi is set to hit the screens in April
RAAZ 3 will be back with Vikram Bhatt, Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu.
RACE 2 will star Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Amisha Patel and will be directed by Abbas-Mastan
HOUSEFUL 2 will roll out post-IPL with the same combination of Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala.
